VineTrail x Bokman

Korean food and low-intervention wine… a match made in fermentation heaven.

When Since Raphaëel Rodriguez, co-founder of Vine Trail, stumbled across our restaurant in what I believe was the first week of opening, he persuaded us to add a few wines that he imported, to our drinks menu (which at the time consisted of cass, chamisul and coke zero).

Vine Trail, specialise in sourcing, importing and distributing some incredible wines from France, Northern Spain and Sicily. Raphaël, Remi, Nick and Cath and the rest of their incredible team have been customers, mentors, advocates, advisors, and above all friends. Their unique approach to importing and selling wine is renowned worldwide and it's been an incredible privilege to be on the receiving end of this wealth of knowledge, intuition and taste.

It was pretty obvious, therefore, that a collaboration celebrating their wines, knowledge and our food was in order.

Last September we were honoured to collaborate with them on a special dinner featuring our oldest ferments, next level produce and (it goes without saying) mind blowing wine pairings.

It was an incredible evening celebrating all that is natural wine and korean feasting.
